Pearl Pilots App — Privacy Policy

This policy explains what the Pearl Pilots app collects, how we use it, and the choices you have.

What we collect

• Account info: if you create an account, your email address, display name, and (optionally) a profile photo and bio.
• Content you share: posts, comments, photos and videos, captions, cover-song requests, and merch reservations (including any name/email you enter).
• Activity: likes and interactions you make in the app.

We do not collect your precise location, and we do not sell your personal information.

How we use it

• To run the app: show your profile and content, power the community feed and notifications, and let you reserve merch or request songs.
• To contact you about a merch reservation you submit.
• To keep the community safe: reviewing reports and enforcing our community guidelines.

How it's stored

Your data is stored securely with our backend provider, Supabase, including media in Supabase Storage. The live radio stream is provided by Live365.

What others see

Content you post — posts, comments, photos/videos, your display name and profile photo — is visible to other people using the app. We do not share your email or other personal details with third parties except the service providers needed to run the app (such as Supabase and Live365), or when required by law.

Your choices

• Edit your profile anytime.
• Report content and block other users.
• Delete your account anytime in the app (Account → Delete Account). This permanently removes your profile and your posts, comments, and likes.

Children

The app is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their information.

Changes

We may update this policy and will post any changes here with a new date.
